The artistry, the deeper lessons in the plots, the culture, etc. My all time and number one (#1) anime is Naruto. I've invested myself in the characters: I've cried with the characters in the sadness they experienced. I've rejoiced with their triumphs. I've laughed out loud and so hard I've tears streamed down my face lol. Some of my deepest realizations and intuitive hits have derived from something I've read/ an episode I've watched of Manga.
